on the banks of the River Ebro
Our typical Spanish Townhouse, nestling amongst real Spanish neighbours here in rural Spain , has all the modern conveniences you could need for a relaxing self-catering break.
The accommodation is just 500yds from the River Ebro, 2 minutes walk from the local shops, bars and restaurants of
rural Catalonia and a twenty minute drive from
the golden beaches of the Costa Dorado.
Unlike a lot of holiday companies in Spain, we do not charge per person/per night. - For the 2007 season
we have one flat rate for a 7 night stay. - 270 Euros Jan-May and Oct-Dec
320 Euros June-September
The price stays the same whether you wish to come alone,
as a couple, or as a group of up to six people.

The Layout
On the ground floor you will find an entrance hall with washing machine, and plenty of space for your coats, shoes and bags. In the kitchen there is a full size cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, bar stools, ironing board and iron, and all the cutlery and crockery and utensils you might need for your stay. We even provide complimentary coffee, tea, milk, sugar and drinking water to make you welcome a bit more relaxed*. The fully tiled shower room with toilet and washbasin is also on the ground floor.
The stairs leading from the entrance hall take you to the first floor dining area with balcony, and the separate lounge with plenty of comfortable seating where you can enjoy English satellite TV. In the lounge you will find a bed settee which makes into two single beds.
Following the stairs up to the second floor, your will find a front double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and draw space. The back bedroom houses a set of bunkbeds and also has wardrobe and drawer space. Also on this second floor you will, conveniently adjacent to the bedrooms, a fully tiled toilet and washroom.
All the necessary linen is provided for your stay including freshly made beds, bath towels, hand towels, and tea towels for the kitchen.
We kindly request that you provide your own beach towels.
All-in-all, Casa Gregori provides comfortable accommodation for up to six people in a very convenient location with parking closeby.
*provided for our guests are complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar & water as well as those essentials such as toilet paper, kitchen paper, washing up liquid, and washing powder
- The Amenities
- Mora D’Ebre is a small market town of approx. 5000 inhabitants, which has supermarkets, shops and banks, without losing it’s friendly local quality.
- The River Ebro provides the focus of the town with scenic walks, excellent fishing, and water sports activities.
- In the summer months we can arrange canoe trips, bank fishing, boat fishing, horse riding and romantic evening boat trips to view the surrounding scenery from a completely different perspective.
- The town itself offers all types of restaurants and bars, some with live music. There are several unobtrusive night clubs for dancing into the small hours. There is both an indoor swimming pool with gymnasium, Jacuzzi and sauna, and an outdoor swimming pool (June to September only) offering three different sized open-air pools with plenty of room for sunbathing or picnicking on the surrounding lawns. Both pools are open all day, and you can stay as long as you like for a small entrance fee.
Amenities further afield
For those wishing for a change of scenery during their stay, Mora D’Ebro is ideally situated for excursions, and property searchers being only a twenty minute drive from the nearest beach at El Perello. Driving further along the coast you will find a beach to suit every taste, from tiny rocky coves, to wide stretches of golden sand. From unspoilt fishing ports to the bustle of a big holiday resort such as Salou, only 40 minutes drive away. Also near Salou you will find the TV advertised theme park of Port Aventura, and the huge Water Park of AquaPolis, both well worth a visit.
A 30-minute spectacular scenic drive following the river takes you to the rice paddies and beaches of the Delta, an experience not to be missed. And an hour-long panoramic mountain drive upriver will take you the beautiful dams and lakes of the Ebro.
A two-hour train ride takes you to the magnificent city of Barcelona with its historic Gaudi architecture and designer shops and boutiques.
