Welcome to Mora D’Ebre at the heart of the River Ebro Valley, where the mighty River Ebro winds it’s way to the coast through some of the most spectacular panoramic scenery in Catalonia, Northern Spain. With accommodation available just 500yds from the banks of the river ebro.

It is truly an anglers paradise, offering the fishing of a lifetime. Strong wild CARP are the main species of fish in the river Ebro, growing up to 40lb and more.  The famous WELLS CATFISH or “siluro” reaching up to 150lb are there to catch for the brave at heart.

But watch out, the fish in the river ebro like their freedom and fight hard so good strong tackle is paramount, and the fishing is a joy.

Other species abound, including BLACK BASS, ROACH, BARBEL, ZANDER, TROUT; and vast shoals of MULLET in the water below Tivenys.

Seems a shame to let it go again, but I don’t think it would be very happy in a 1ft fish tank!

Bait, groundbait, boilies, etc., are all available at local fishing shops.
The swims vary from very easy access to unfished heaven for the intrepid angler.

Large wells catfish and carp are regularly caught from on and around the public jetty, where you can meet fishermen from all over Europe, who come here just for the experience of fishing the River Ebro

Float fishing, Spinning, Ledgering, Live-baiting and Fly fishing all work well here, as the water of the river ebro is a constantly changing challenge.
