MORA D’EBRE is a small Catalan market town of
approx. 5000 inhabitants
on the banks of the river ebro,
 yet only 20 minutes from
the golden beaches of the COSTA DORADO.
The beautiful RIVER EBRO
provides the focus of the town with scenic walks
amazing fishing and water-sports activities
that are available here in Catalonia.

At all times whilst walking around the town, you can enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, and even the shortest drive takes you through
spectacular and dramatic scenery of northern Spain..
Walks along the banks of the RIVER EBRO or into the surrounding countryside
reveal all manner of wildlife from lizards and red squirrels,
to kingfishers, rooks and Spanish eagles, all set against the unsurpassed views

 

Whilst the river Ebro is quite
obviously the hub of the town,
it also boasts both indoor and outdoor public swimming pools, many bars and restaurants, along with
supermarkets, banks and
newsagents, etc. and a good quality
bus and train service

    

Yet despite this, the town still
retains the friendly laid-back
typically Spanish feel
 you would expect of a small farming community in Catalonia, Spain. If you require company. You will find
a small English community here, living happily alongside the locals.
